The UD community has been enjoying the senior art exhibitions that were installed April 24 and 25. The visual pieces range from stunning religious paintings of the life of Christ to sculptures and images that mimic nature in its beauty and majesty.
Empire of Dirt
Lizzie Lyons’ concentration exhibit features lithographs of earth-tone scenes of rural life. Her display is in the Thompson Loggia art gallery in the Haggerty Art Village until May 4.

Incarnation
Anne Marie Johnson’s exhibit portrays scenes from the life of Christ in expressive paintings on display in the Gorman lobby until May 4.

Interior Reef
Mary Kate Elfelt’s senior art exhibit materializes natural-toned sea reefs amid a blue backdrop, bringing to life the little peculiarities of the open sea. Her sculptures are on display in the Upper Gallery, Printing and Painting Building until May 4.

Leaf Fountain
Travis Phillip’s art installation is a series of aluminum leaf-shaped bowls that slope gracefully down a hill reminiscent of leaves in a rainforest. His sculpture is on display on the hill above the Church of the Incarnation until May 4.

Traverse
Eva Kuehler’s concentration exhibit includes a series of backlit pieces depicting characters in a fantastic wilderness landscape. Her paintings are on display in Haggar between the foyer and the Cap Bar until May 4.
