  1. The iconic duo Jay-Z and Beyonce are taking on Dallas and performing at AT&T Stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 11. Chances are that those who wanted to go foresaw that tickets would sell out quickly and bought them already. For those that did not obtain tickets, there may be some under $300 floating around the internet.
  2. Beer people, your time has come: The 8th Annual Dallas Observer BrewFest will take place at the Dallas Farmers Market — 1010 S. Pearl Expressway — on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 7-10 p.m. The event will feature over 500 beers, both local and international, as well as food vendors and music. Tickets start at $35 and each ticket includes twelve 2-ounce beer samples. 21+.
  3. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Women Rock Edition will be celebrating the careers and talents of iconic female artists such as Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and Pat Benatar at Meyerson Symphony Center — 2301 Flora St., Dallas — from Friday, Sept. 7 to Sunday, Sept. 9. Tickets start at $19.
  4. Calling all Cowboys and cars fans — Gas Monkey Bar and Grill is hosting Cowboys & Cars Cookout at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9. Enjoy a cookout buffet and bloody mary bar while watching the Cowboys play the Patriots and later the Panthers. 21+.
  5. They’re selling chocolate at the Dallas Chocolate Festival on Sept. 7-9 at 11 a.m. at the F.I.G. on 1807 Ross Ave #167, Dallas. Come feast on chocolate creations from vendors all over the world in the forms of truffles, bonbons, baked goods and more. Tickets start at $5.
  6. For lovers of colorful art, Zhuang Hong Yi’s highly anticipated exhibition “In Full Bloom” will be opening on Saturday, Sept. 8, with a reception from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Laura Rathe Fine Art Gallery at 1130 Dragon St #130, Dallas. The gallery will be open until Oct. 6.  Free admission.
