  1.      Dallas Holiday Parade

Head downtown to see the huge annual holiday parade this Saturday, Dec. 1. There will be many floats, performances and vendors. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and is located in the Downtown Historic District, starting on Commerce Street.

  1.      Holiday at the Arboretum

One of Dallas’ favorite holiday traditions, the annual Holiday at the Arboretum, is back at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Go see the park decked out in holiday lights, a re-creation of each of the 12 Days of Christmas and a huge Christmas tree. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and extend to 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday. Admission is $20.

  1.      Dallas Stars vs Edmonton Oilers

Head to the American Airlines Center for the next Stars game. They are playing the Edmonton Oilers on Monday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $10.

  1.      Dallas Zoo Lights

The Dallas Zoo is hosting its first Adults-Only Night, so head there for the perfect holiday outing. Enjoy the zoo by night, twinkling lights, and holiday drinks this Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. Admission is $15. 21+ only.

  1. 2018 Holiday Show and Tree Lighting

Klyde-Warren Park is presenting its annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration this Sat, Dec. 1 from 2 to 6 p.m. There will be live music, lawn games and Santa Claus for those who still believe. The Tree Lighting is at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

  1.      Elf the Musical

Watch the holiday movie classic “Elf” turn into an energetic and fun musical this weekend. There are nightly performances from Wednesday, Nov. 28 to Sunday, Dec. 2 at Music Hall at Fair Park. Ticket prices start at $30.
