  1. The Color Run

Instead of sleeping in Saturday morning, try out the well-known and fun Color Run this weekend. The 5K is being hosted at Fair Park in Dallas and starts at 8 a.m. this Saturday, March 23. Don’t forget to wear a white t-shirt because, by the end, you’ll be covered in every color but white. Afterward, there is music, dancing and vendors. Register online ahead of time for $29.99.

 

  1. Movies in the Park

Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas is hosting a movie night this Friday, March 22, with a showing of the classic film “Grease.” Head downtown to watch the movie under the stars while lounging on the lawn at this free event. Movie starts at 8 p.m.

P!nk is in town this weekend. She is stopping in Dallas on tour and will be performing at the American Airlines Center on March 24 7:30 p.m. Admission starts at $47 — get your tickets to the concert fast.

 

  1. Four Day Weekend Dallas

Enjoy a night of comedy with the critically-acclaimed and longest running show in the Southwest, Four Day Weekend. They have always attracted great reviews as the “Best Entertainment Experience in Texas” and voted Best Comedy.  The comedic troupe put on their interactive show every Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Four Weekend Day East in the Lower Greenville area. Tickets are $25.

 

  1. Dallas Mavericks

Go to a basketball game next week Tuesday, March 26 to watch the Mavericks play the Sacramento Kings. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. at the American Airlines Center, and ticket prices begin at $14.

 

  1. Sixth Floor Museum

Honoring the 55th anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy, the Sixth Floor Museum at the Dealey Plaza is offering a special temporary exhibit until this August, called “55 Years.” It is a visual timeline highlighting the publicity that the former president received during and after his lifetime. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $18.
