1. DC College Night 2019

Dallas Contemporary museum is opening its doors after-hours for North Texas college students. Bring your student ID for free admission and enjoy live music and art this Saturday night, April 20, from 7 to 10 p.m. There will also be a taco truck with a special discount for students. Parking is free.

2. “The Wizard of Oz”

Enjoy the musical favorite live at the Casa Manana in Fort Worth until May 12. There are shows this weekend on Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20. Check the website for different showtimes. Seats start at $21.

3. Easter Egg Hunt Workout

Join Kaia FIT! for a workout and egg hunt like you’ve never done before. This adult Easter egg hunt is fitness-oriented, so expect to have fun, look for prizes and surprises and be working out all the while at Vitruvian Park in Addison. The event starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 11:30 a.m. There will be cute baby rescue bunnies at the end of the event. Registration is free, but an RSVP is required beforehand.

4. Black Panther Movie Night

This upcoming Friday and Saturday night you have a chance to see the popular film “Black Panther” outdoors. The movie begins at 7 p.m., and both the event and parking are free. On Friday, April 19, the movie is at the Joppa Preserve, and on Saturday, April 20, it is at the Ronald Kirk Bridge and the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway. The 2019 Trinity Movie Series hosts a film every month, so keep your eye open for the next one.

5. Fort Worth Architectural Tour

Explore and learn about historic downtown Fort Worth on this free architectural tour, offered by Fort Worth Texas Real Estate. This Saturday, April 20, the tour starts at the historic Texas & Pacific Railway Station at 9 a.m. and continues for 2-3 miles around downtown, with knowledgeable guides who want to share their love for Fort Worth. Space is limited to 59 people, so register for free online soon.

6. Get Eggcited

Get eggcited for the Dallas Farmers Market Easter celebration this weekend. There will be live music, activities including egg-dying and a bunny hop around the block, games and concessions available. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 920 South Harwood St. in Dallas.
