  1. Get ready to hear some banjo and bass! Mumford & Sons is performing at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $29 for this headliner band, so don’t miss out!
  2. Autumn celebrations continue at the Dallas Farmers Market! The Texas Pumpkin Festival, complete with cooking demos, beer tastings, a Boho market,and food will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.
  3. If you’re up for some fast-paced entertainment, head over to the American Airlines Center for a Dallas Stars vs. Calgary Flames hockey game on Thursday, Oct. 10. Tickets start at $8 plus fees.
  4. “In the Heights,” a musical brought to you by the writer of “Hamilton,” is showing now until Oct. 20 at the Dallas Theater Center. Tickets start at $20, check the website for times.
  5. Head to Plano for the International Festival  to celebrate our nation’s diversity on Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. There will be music and dancing, food trucks, cultural education and much more. The event and parking are free!
  6. Pumpkin Nights at Howell Farms in Arlington is  a seasonal extravaganza now until Nov. 10. There are sculptures, exhibits, pumpkin-carving demonstrations, food trucks and more,with admission starting at $17 for tickets purchased after 8 p.m.
