
Hello caf-goers, this is Hailey and Anna! Come here to find some crazy creations that you can make from food found in our one and only caf!
Prep time: 5-7 minutes
For carrot cake:
4 carrot sticks
Half mug of boiling water
1 raw egg from omelet bar
Half scoop of oatmeal
Scoop of raisins
Spoonful of brown sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg from cap bar (for the adventurous souls)
For icing:
1 scoop of Greek yogurt
Generous shaking of cinnamon
Big squeeze of honey
Optional: chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, spices
- Smile at Ms. Patty
- Fill a mug halfway with boiling water from the coffee maker
- Dice carrots and place in the mug of boiling water
- Microwave for 1 minute to cook carrots, watching to make sure it does not boil over
- Combine the egg, oatmeal, raisins, brown sugar and spices in a separate bowl
- When carrots are soft, spoon out of water and mix into oatmeal mixture
- Microwave for 1 minute and 45 seconds or until fully cooked
- While your cake is a bakin’ mix together all ingredients for the icing
- Flip bowl upside down to transfer cake onto a plate
- Ice the cake
- If desired, top with chocolate chips, more cinnamon, pumpkin seeds and honey
