  1. Architecture Walking Tour – The Architecture and Design Exchange Dallas Arts District tour examines architecture from the 1890s to present day, led by a trained tour guide. Explore the architectural and historical details and visionaries who are part of the neighborhood’s story. Tours are held every first and third Saturday of the month. Tickets start at $8.
  2. Yoga – Start your weekend with a relaxed yoga session at Westlake Brewery Co. in Deep Ellum! Reserve your spot on the patio for free every Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. All levels are welcome, bring your own mat and towel. 
  3. Live Music – Visit Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse in Uptown Dallas for an evening of live music on the patio every Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and happy hour specials all night. 
  4.  Art show – “Alta Acqua” features a large collection of oil paintings and mixed media modern art inspired by artist Julie Lazarus’ recent travels to Venice in 2019, when the city was overcome with floods. This show will be held at William Campbell Contemporary Art Inc from Sept. 12 until Oct. 10. 
  5. Sixth Floor Museum – Learn about the life, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy at the location of his assassination. From now until April 2021, the museum is hosting “Art Reframes History,” a show of artists’ interpretations of the life of John F. Kennedy. The museum is located in Dealey Plaza, and you can reserve your tickets online starting at $18 for adults. 
  6. Autumn at the Arboretum – Ready for fall? Visit the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village of pumpkin houses and over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash. This festival runs from Sept. 19 to Nov. 1 at the Dallas Arboretum, including Oktoberfest on Sept. 20. Admission starts at $10.
