Artist Description: This is a still life in oil that was inspired by the verse of Daniel 3:57-88. The entire painting represents creation’s calling to give praise to God. Each object is a symbol of the different parts of creation that are mentioned in the verse. The light and dark and the earth and sky are represented through the composition that is divided both vertically and horizontally. Its goal is to represent the division, duality, variety and unity of God’s creation.
