  1. MLK Food Park: Support local vendors and open spaces in an underserved area of South Dallas with this block transformation until May 2. Better Block Foundation is aiming to fulfill a need for nature, live music and good food. With community support and feedback, the Foundation can make this pop-up a permanent reality.   4. Garden Serenades: The Dallas Opera Orchestra will be performing Dukas’ Fanfare from “La Péri” and Tylman Susato’s “Renaissance Dances” at the Klyde Warren Park Pavilion. Come for the nearby Dallas Museum of Art and food trucks, and stay for the beautiful music at 1 p.m. on April 17-18.
