What is your proudest moment on the field with the team?

“My proudest moment on the field was giving the game winning assist to Chase [Reynolds] when we played against Schreiner.”

What other sports have you played? In high school or younger?

“I grew up playing soccer my whole life. I’ve never played another sport. Since in Brazil, it is the main sport and all the kids play, soccer has been my whole life since I was born.”

What made you decide to choose UD?

“I chose UD, mainly because of the academic opportunities that it offers for my major. I was blessed with the opportunity to play soccer along with it, so it was a perfect fit for me. Another major aspect that caught my eye was the catholic foundation that the school has, which was very attractive to me.”

What motivated you to play soccer at the collegiate level?

“I’ve always wanted to play soccer at the highest level possible. When the offer came in for me to play at the collegiate level, I was very happy. All the effort that my parents put into taking me to club practice and not missing any games, is the biggest inspiration for me playing the game.”

What is your favorite Cap Bar drink?

“My favorite Capp bar drink is definitely Toni’s Tea. One of my best friends works there and she named it after me because I always ordered it after she created it. I heard it is becoming pretty popular now.”

Who are your role models?

“My role model is definitely my mom and my dad. After moving from Brazil to here, they showed me what true commitment is and what a strong mind looks like. Being able to bring your family to a different country and provide them with such amazing opportunities is extraordinary and I have no idea how I will ever pay them back for this blessing.”

Which professional soccer team do you support?

“My professional soccer team is Vasco da Gama. It is a club team in Brazil, and I have always grown up going for them. My dad showed me their beautiful history and the passion, which made me fall in love with the club.”
