I have never personally sought out charismatic prayer, and am opposed to it in the context of the ritual of the Mass. I will often sit on my own and prefer near-complete silence while in deep prayer. However, I find a great amount of joy in proudly singing hymns during Mass, as well as during prayer with friends. After conducting these interviews, I feel as if the Spirit works through us in all kinds of prayer, so long as how we pray is reverent in the moment.
