1. I had always wanted to play soccer at a higher level as well as to continue my education. My cousin had previously attended the college so when it was my turn to choose my university, I picked UD. I also picked UD because when I visited the campus, I had the opportunity to meet with the coach and she provided me with the chance to join the team. 2. I usually feel proud when I know I had a good practice or played well in a game. I think I could improve on my offensive skills. 3. I’ve never had a cap bar drink.

1. I chose it because I knew it was a smart college, and I knew they have a lot of connections to jobs in the field that I’m interested in. The biggest reason was the coach for the soccer aspects of it. 2. Last game, I had a really big tackle. I just liked it because it was right next to our sidelines, and so everyone started screaming and hyping me up whenever I fought for the ball and got this really good tackle and won it back. [I want to] improve, since I’m a defender. I think I’m good at one-on-one defending, but you can always improve on it, especially the defender. 3. I haven’t been to the Cap Bar. I’m not much of a coffee person, but I like caramel drinks with coffee. I don’t go out of my way to [buy] it, but if someone offers it to me, then sure.

1. I chose UD for the liberal art education and the strong bond that the girls’ soccer team provides. The moment I knew that UD was the perfect school for me was when I met the team and they were so friendly and welcoming. 2. My proudest moment was starting and my whole family was at the game watching me. My family especially my mom are my biggest supporters 3. [My favorite Cap Bar drink is the] iced caramel macchiato.

1. I’ve always known UD from my club coach, who’s the men’s soccer coach here, and when really looking inside of the school to see the academics and the program itself, I fell in love with the school. The main difference between choosing UD and another school was just [that] the academics were just truly so much better here for what I want to pursue in life. 2. My proudest moments in games and practice is when the whole team can come together and do something really cool, so it’s like a good save and then going up to the field and [team] building […] just any team building thing. I think it’s the proudest moment for the whole team. As an individual to improve on in the sport, definitely positive self-talk. It’s really difficult during games to keep the positive [attitude], especially as goalkeeper because you can’t score. You know, “I suck.” You get stressed about it, but I think self-talk is the biggest aspect for everyone, and then realizing your mistake and moving on to the next thing so that you don’t affect the team. 3. [My favorite Cap Bar drink] is a large iced chai latte with almond milk and extra cinnamon.

1. I chose UD to continue my soccer career and education because I valued the importance of continuing my Catholic education and I wanted to play soccer at the next level. When I first met the team while I was touring, I found it easy to get along with the girls and felt a sense of familiarity when getting to know them, which is a main reason why I wanted to commit to UD. 2. My proudest moment in practice so far would be when we were working on our shooting and the girls complimented a few of my shots. 3. Currently my favorite drink from the Cap Bar would be the pumpkin pie latte.

1. My aunt and uncle went here, and my sister [Kaitlyn] also goes here, so we have some history with the campus itself. I also really wanted to focus on education while playing soccer and this provided a good balance of both. And also the team because Kaitlyn also plays on the soccer team, I got to witness how the team kind of practiced and performed and stuff, so I just liked being around those girls. 2. I’d say my proudest moment is probably when we played [Arkansas]. My sister and I were from Fort Smith, Arkansas, and we played a team from Arkansas. We have a friend on that team, too, that we went out to dinner with the night before, so we were obviously saying some stuff about who’s gonna win. My sister and I, we ended up winning, and we both ended up scoring in that game, too. That was so funny and ironic; it was funny because it was a hometown team, and my sister’s a defender so she never scores. She scored and then I scored right after, so that was just awesome. If there’s something I can improve on, it’d probably be taking on defenders when I want to get more opportunities on goal. 3. [My favorite Cap Bar drink] is probably either an extra sweet caramel macchiato because I like the dessert coffee, or if I don’t want coffee, then the hibiscus refresher and add strawberry and coconut.
