1. Dallas Arboretum — The Dallas Arboretum welcomes spring with “Dallas Blooms: A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words”. It features 500,000 flowers of over 120 varieties. Dallas Blooms also features an abundance of garden markets featuring vendors, live music and more. Admission is free, and this will be held until Apr. 8.

2. Irish Festival — The North Texas Irish Festival celebrates the music, dance, food and spirits, storytelling, and art of Ireland. The festival features several stages of live music, Irish step dancing, chef demonstrations and more. This will be held Mar. 1-3. Admission starts at $45.

3.Romeo and Juliet — The Dallas Opera debuts Shakespeare’s greatest love story. Tickets start at $19. This will be held on Mar. 1, 3, 6 and 9.

4.Beetlejuice — Dallas Broadway transforms Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film into a musical. There will be showings Feb. 28 through Mar. 3.

5. Texas Ballet — Texas Ballet Theater presents “Brilliants,” a repertoire production featuring four ballets in one. The featured ballets include “Rubies,” “Grand Pas Classique,” “Le Corsaire Pas de Deux” and “Without Borders.” Showings will be held Mar. 1-3. Tickets begin at $20.

6. Art Show opening reception — “Loss of Identity,” a surrealistic art experience, features the Dallas-based visual artist Heather Levy and Audio by New York artist Kristen Williams. The exhibition reflects upon the idea of identity, through painting, sculpture, film and music. Following the opening reception on Mar. 2, the exhibit will be on display through Apr. 30. Admission is free.
